Job Opening – Construction Materials Lab Testing Technician
ICPI-NCMA, an international trade association located in Herndon, VA is looking for a full-time Construction Materials Testing Lab Technician. This is a fundamental role in the daily operations at the Research and Development Laboratory. The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for the physical testing of masonry products, preparation and construction of masonry test specimens, and maintaining masonry testing equipment.
Successful candidates must be detail-oriented, possess excellent organizational skills, and have the ability to follow standardized test procedures for evaluating construction materials. Masonry construction or testing experience is a plus, but not required. Knowledge and experience regarding ASTM Standards are a plus. Specialized training will be provided. The ability to repeat tasks in a consistent manner is necessary. The ability to regularly lift at least 50 lbs. is also necessary.
