Segmental Pavement

Turn those unused outdoor spaces into beautiful outdoor living and entertainment spaces.

Concrete Pavers

From patios and driveways to roads, ports and airports, interlocking concrete pavements provide a durable and beautiful pavement solution. CMHA offers a range of technical information and guidance for homeowners, designers, project owners and contractors.

Permeable Pavers

Permeable interlocking concrete pavement (PICP) is a durable cost-effective solution for compliance to national, state/provincial and municipal stormwater regulations. PICP can reduce runoff and pollutants from walkways, patios, driveways, parking lots, alleys, parking lanes, and low volume streets. The spaces among the aggregates store water and enable infiltration into the soil subgrade rather than generating surface runoff.

Paving Slabs

A pavement with units each having a surface area over 100 in.2 (0.065 m2). Generally, they are no larger than 48 in. x 48 in. (1.2 m x 1.2 m) with a minimum thickness of 1.18 in. (30 mm). The overall slab length to thickness is greater than 4. Slabs are placed on a bedding and base to support pedestrian and limited vehicular traffic.

Concrete Grids

Slab-like units with up to 75% open area, generally no larger than 16 in. (400 mm) x 24 in. (600 mm). Aggregate or grass is placed in the openings to promote rainfall infiltration. Units are placed on a compacted aggregate base and can receive a limited vehicular traffic.
