This course is crafted for sales personnel with more than three years’ experience in the concrete masonry industry or those who have completed the Basic Block and Hardscape Sales School and would like to expand their knowledge and sharpen their acumen.

Seasoned members of the industry who would like a refresher course or feel the need to broaden their technical skills especially related to supporting architects are encouraged to attend. Upon completion of this course, member participants will be eligible to become certified as a Continuing Education Facilitators to provide training to designers for continuing education credits using the NCMA AIA number. Technical topics covered in this course include fire safety, crack control, moisture penetration resistance and thermal performance of concrete masonry systems. Advanced-level communications skills will be covered too, as well as a presentation and discussion with an architect. In addition to technical topics, advanced-level communications skills will be covered, a presentation and discussion with an architect, and a Direct Design Software primer.

Participants from member companies will be eligible to become certified as a NCMA Continuing Education Facilitators (CEF) to award continuing education credits to architects using approved presentations and the NCMA AIA number (certification free with registration for member participants).
